My name is Stephanie Mahal, and I am the acting President of the Early Childhood Academy ownership group. I have over 17 years of experience working with young children and families as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. I specialize in supporting children’s physical, cognitive, social, communication, and emotional development and growth. Most recently, I spent the past 12 years in public schools leading processes in developing, implementing, and coordinating student support services by providing screenings, evaluations, educational programming, transition planning, therapeutic interventions, and school readiness. My diverse skill set and collaborative approaches ensured my students and the staff that worked with them were provided evidence-based practices to ensure the opportunity to access, engage, grow, learn, and participate successfully in inclusive school settings and classrooms.

Collaboration and communication are critical aspects of the Academies’ success and teamwork. There is no “I” in the team. I am truly blessed to have the support and collaboration of a team of resources that will provide all levels of business knowledge, expertise, skills, and operations to run successful childcare businesses. As a parent, I know firsthand how important it is for parents to be part of a supportive community. We are excited and passionate to continue growing in more locations for these close-knit communities and the enriching academic and care programs it provides.
